A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I'm Asif Ali Quraishi, a Software Engineer specializing in React.js and Next.js. I enjoy transforming ideas into modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications that solve real-world problems.
My journey into programming began in June 2019, when my cousin Yasin introduced me to coding through weekly Sunday classes. I started with C, progressed through C++ and Java, and eventually discovered my passion for modern web development. Since 2021, React.js and Next.js have been at the center of my development journey.
I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Budge Budge Institute of Technology, where I graduated in June 2024 with an 8.8 CGPA. During my diploma studies, I was also recognized as a college topper in the third semester in 2019.
Professionally, I've worked on web applications involving authentication flows, account and organization management, user interfaces, API integration, and interactive dashboards. I enjoy taking complex requirements and turning them into maintainable, reliable, and polished frontend experiences.
Beyond writing code, I'm passionate about continuous learning, exploring better engineering practices, and building products that combine thoughtful design with practical functionality. My goal is to keep growing as a software engineer while creating applications that deliver genuine value.

Where My Coding Journey Began
Before discovering programming, I spent time figuring out which direction to take. In June 2019, my cousin Yasin began teaching me during Sunday classes. Over approximately six months, his guidance helped me build my initial programming knowledge and motivated me to continue learning independently.
